Project Coordinator (3 year fixed term contract)

Sightsavers seeks to recruit an experienced, self-driven and result oriented Project Coordinator, based in Blantyre, Malawi who will ensure that our Comic Relief funded Early Childhood Development and Education project is planned, implemented, monitored and evaluated to the highest possible standards and in line with Sightsavers systems and procedures.
Reporting to the Programme Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for collaborating with colleagues, partners and other to identify areas for programme growth and development.
The successful candidate will have experience in project management particularly of donor funded projects. They will have both excellent communication skills and be a proactive networker. The candidate must be fluent in English and have knowledge of local languages and be educated to Bachelors level or above. The successful candidate will have significant experience implementing education/social inclusion programmes in developing countries and a familiarity with national and international legislation, agreements and policies in the field of inclusive education.
