The Trachoma Project Programme Graduate Intern will utilise the knowledge that they have gained from a degree in Social Science or similar, or equivalent experience, to support the daily running of programmes within the area of Neglected Tropical Diseases.

Your experience in Project Management within a Community Development Programme and of managing health programmes at a district or national level, will give you the skills and knowledge necessary to support in a wide range of programme tasks, including:

· Ensuring timely and accurate submission of all district micro plans or 2020

· Ensuring timely and effective delivery of trachoma mass drug administration over multiple districts

· Supporting the preparation and roll out of impact surveys over multiple districts

· Support fast tracking of geographical coverage over multiple districts

· Liaising internally and externally with a wide range of teams and partners, including the production and distribution of reports

· Supporting of any other tasks within the NTD area

· Analysis and organisation of data

The Trachoma Project Programme Intern will work closely across a range of teams and external partners, therefore strong communication and the ability to work under minimal supervision is essential. The role would be well suited to a graduate and you will consistently strive to achieve high standards of performance and enjoy providing new ideas to improve performance within the role and team.
