Title: Fundraising & Supporter Care Coordinator
Location: Spencer Row, Dublin 1
Salary: €32,000 - €36,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent.
Flexible working: This is a full-time position, but flexible working proposals will be considered
Sightsavers has an exciting opportunity for a Fundraising & Supporter Care Coordinator to join the Individual Giving team in Dublin. Sightsavers Ireland is a key contributor to the global Sightsavers organization, which has a long and successful history in changing the lives of millions of people, for good.
The Fundraising & Supporter Care Coordinator is a key position, with a strong focus on inspiring our thousands of donors with the change they create and making sure that they continue to support our global programs.
This is an incredibly exciting time to be joining Sightsavers Ireland and as Fundraising & Supporter Care Coordinator, you will acquire knowledge and understanding of Sightsavers programmatic work to generate sustainable fundraising income from our existing donors.
Your extensive customer care experience will allow you to positively represent Sightsavers and provide exceptional service when responding to donor requests and queries via email, telephone and in writing, as well as communicating how their contributions create a lasting impact on people’s lives. As part of the Individual Giving team, you will engage donors further and maximise fundraising income by developing loyalty and upgrading campaigns as well as identifying and reviewing areas where processes could be improved.
Other responsibilities include:
· Directly overseeing the income plans and expenditure budgets related to existing donors
· Working directly with suppliers and organisational support teams to deliver ongoing marketing campaigns
· Ensure annual fundraising income targets are achieved
· Donor upgrades, donor activations and reactivations and donor loyalty activities
· Managing and improving relations with key partners and external agencies
· Monitoring, analysing and improving workflows
· Other activities, necessary in reaching the objectives of the Individual Giving team
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
· Experience of liaising with donors and maximising fundraising income within a fundraising environment would be ideal, however experience in a customer service environment dealing with the public by telephone, preferably in a not for profit organisation will also be considered
· Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
· Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities and deadlines
· Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
· Ability to clearly communicate complex information
· Experience in working in a fundraising environment is a strong asset.
