Data Programme Consultancy
Consultancy in support of the initial phase of development of a new programme data module for Sightsavers
Anticipated Timeframe: 20 – 40 days between October 2021 and December 2021
Location: UK - Remote working
Sightsavers is seeking to engage a Consultant to support their Business Integration Programme [BIP]. Phase Two of the BIP will require documenting organisational business requirements; including high-level data flows mapping for processes and systems for collecting, storing, aggregating and reporting data of interest and to identify the right platform/ software solution for programmatic data collection at field level in each country.
Sightsavers is going through a digital transformation in data management and analytics to leverage operational insights into organisational management information reporting, in support of sound decision making. The Business Integration Programme forms the lynchpin in this journey.
This consultant will:
- Document high-level requirements for the new programmatic data module in order to identify the solution(s) which best meets Sightsavers business needs as identified in the approved scoping document; clearly documenting its purpose, underlying processes and data flows
- Identify the key functionality and features that the new programmatic data module will need to be able to perform once operational; consulting with key stakeholders to understand their team requirements
- Provide technical advice to Sightsavers on the selection and evaluation of potential technology platforms, considering not only technical needs but also the wider benefits for the organisation.
- It is requested that one solution included in the evaluation be the District Health Information Software 2 (DHIS2) global platform
Required skills and expertise of the bidder
A Consultant with a proven track record in successful development of a data module for programmatic data for international entities will be procured to undertake the project through an expression of interest process.
