Sightsavers has a fantastic new opportunity for a Fundraising Assistant to join our Global Individual Giving Team to be based in our Haywards Heath office.
This role is an important position within the department and you will be responsible for providing a flexible and multidisciplinary range of services. You’ll be working with Individual Giving, Digital Fundraising and Fundraising Services, across Italy, Sweden, Norway and the UK – providing a perfect entry point to understanding fundraising on a global level and to build a successful career in Fundraising.
The role will cover a range of tasks and responsibilities from helping make sure our supporters are well looked after, to testing online web pages, helping with scheduling of campaigns, and ensuring we help our events fundraisers make the most from their efforts. You will also be expected to take an enthusiastic and proactive approach to learning about fundraising, both in the UK and overseas.
The successful candidate will have strong written and communication skills and be a proactive team player. You will have an ability to prioritise projects and ensure deadlines are met. A background in a similar role or marketing/administration would be advantageous as would confidence in your ability to work with an array of key stakeholders across the team and organisation.
