A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Analyst to work closely with the service desk team and under direction of the IT Infrastructure Manager on day to day problem resolution, infrastructure projects and maintenance tasks.
The successful post holder will act as the main point of contact within the infrastructure team for incident/problem logging, escalations and resolution. You will be working with the team on dealing with level 2/level 3 tickets and a variety of 1st and 2nd line support and maintenance tasks for software and hardware used within Sightsavers. The role will involve assisting in maintain the Sightsavers IT infrastructure/systems to ensure that it is secure, reliable and supported by vendors.
The ideal candidate will have a proven experience in a busy service desk with an experience of networking in a Windows environment. You will be experienced in providing a high quality customer support with the ability to work under minimal supervision. Candidates with experience of international support for users would be of particular interest.
