Sightsavers has a fantastic opportunity for a Finance & Risk Manager to join us as a key member of our Neglected Tropical Diseases team, delivering excellent support to our portfolio of large NTD grants and contracts.
The successful candidate will have a key focus in monitoring and managing the financial aspects of the various grants and all related partner contracts. You will liaise closely with the Government Relations team, which has overall responsibility for the funding as well as the Planning, Performance and Reporting (PPR) and Finance teams, overseeing the day to day management of global trachoma elimination grants with main finance oversight on other NTD projects. The role will ensure all financial requirements of the projects are fully met.
In particular, the Finance and Risk Manager will oversee project financial budgeting, monitoring and reporting, lead on further system developments to our reporting portal for financial submissions from partners, manage all aspects of project cash flow, produce internal and external analysis and reports to influence project decision making, oversee project control frameworks and help support partners undertake their work effectively. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, an advanced Excel user with strong accountancy experience, preferably experience of institutional donor contract management, especially EC, USAID and DFID funding. Awareness of overseas development context in the INGO sector would be an advantage as well as the ability to prioritise and manage demanding workloads \
